Happy 9th Birthday, Caitlyn!

My oldest turned 9 today...wow!  We tried to make today all about her.  Lucky duck, she got a Saturday birthday this year!

So, we started off with some presents: a stuffed owl that Autumn made and a gift card to JoAnn (the sewing & fabric shop).

Ate a yummy breakfast of scrambled eggs and naan.

Went roller skating!

(And some of us drove cars in the arcade...)

Later on, we played the board game 'Life' (another one of her presents).

Ate the delicious cake we baked yesterday!

Then had a yummy dinner of cheesy biscuits and sausage.

At bedtime, we gave her 2 new books and called it a day.

All in all, a great day!
